ABOUT RIGHT YOUR SHIP

Helping Men Stop Drifting and Find Their Way Forward

My name is Colin, and I created Right Your Ship to help driven, high-responsibility men reconnect with themselves, regain clarity, and make meaningful course corrections in midlife

Like many men in midlife, I spent years focused on responsibilities, achievement, and caring for others. From the outside, life looked fine. But beneath the surface, I had slowly lost connection with myself and where I wanted my life to go.

My Story

How I Found Myself Off Course

Like many men in midlife, I spent years focused on responsibilities, achievement, and caring for others. From the outside, life looked fine. But beneath the surface, I had slowly lost connection with myself and where I wanted my life to go.

Over time, I found myself moving through life on autopilot. I was checking the boxes, meeting expectations, and doing what needed to be done, but I wasn't feeling the sense of purpose, clarity, or fulfillment I thought would come from building a responsible life.

The more honest I became with myself, the more I realized I wasn't alone. Many men carry enormous responsibility for their families, careers, and communities while quietly losing connection with their own needs, goals, and identity in the process.

That realization set me on a path of personal growth, self-discovery, and reinvention. Through coaching, learning, reflection, and intentional change, I began reconnecting with myself and creating a more meaningful direction for the next chapter of my life.

Right Your Ship was born from that journey. Today, my mission is to help other men recognize drift sooner, reconnect with what matters most, and make meaningful course corrections before years pass by on a path they never consciously chose.

WHAT I BELIEVE

The Principles Behind Right Your Ship

I believe meaningful change doesn't require becoming someone new. It begins by reconnecting with who you already are, clarifying what matters most, and taking intentional action in that direction.

Lasting Change Begins With Awareness

You can't change what you don't recognize. Honest self-awareness is often the first step toward meaningful course correction.

Meaningful Change Happens Gradually

Meaningful change rarely happens overnight. Consistent action often matters more than dramatic change.

Direction Matters More Than Speed

Most men don't need to work harder. They need clarity about where they're headed and the confidence to move toward it.

CREDENTIALS & TRAINING

Professional Training Backed by Real-Life Experience

My coaching approach combines professional training, ongoing learning, and personal experience. While no coach has all the answers, I believe effective coaching requires both the ability to ask meaningful questions and a commitment to continual growth.

More important than any certification, I believe meaningful coaching is built on trust, curiosity, accountability, and a genuine commitment to helping people move forward.

Right Your Ship is designed for driven, high-responsibility men who have spent years carrying responsibilities and taking care of others but have begun to feel disconnected from themselves and uncertain about what comes next.

You've Been Carrying A Heavy Load

You have responsibilities, commitments, and people who depend on you, but something feels off beneath the surface. Life may look fine from the outside, yet you feel increasingly disconnected from yourself and what truly matters.

You Know Something Needs to Change

You sense you're capable of more and want a clearer understanding of who you are, what matters most, and where you want your life to go from here.

You're Ready to Move Forward

You may not have all the answers, but you're willing to take an honest look at where you are, make meaningful course corrections, and begin moving forward with greater intention.

You don't need to have everything figured out. You simply need the willingness to be honest about where you are and open to exploring what comes next.
